We’ve taken a look at cities around the globe, identified the most pet friendly cities based on how many pet friendly hotels, cafes, restaurants, bars and transportation options are available, as well as using other statistics.
Here are some of our key findings:
- New York is one of the world’s most pet friendly cities. It is home to over 100 pet friendly hotels, and there are over 500,000 registered domestic housecats.
- 98% of pet owners in London believe that owning a pet gives them a healthier lifestyle and reduces stress.
- Did you know that the world’s most followed dog on Facebook lives in San Francisco, and has over 17,000,000 followers on Facebook?
- There are over 33,000,000 pets in Australia, and 63% of households own a pet.
